Felicity Huffman, an actress trapped in an alleged scandal of cheating on university admissions, was reportedly greeted by FBI agents with her weapons fired Tuesday morning at her home in Los Angeles.
Huffman, best known for his role in ABC's "Desperate Housewives," was involved in the massive college confession fraud scandal, alongside other wealthy and famous parents who would have paid millions to have their children placed in elite universities.

A source told the Los Angeles Times that Huffman and other defendants had recently been informed that they might be arrested. Sources close to Huffman's arrest told the newspaper that FBI agents armed with their weapons in their hand had arrived at the actress's home at 6 am to place them in custody.

The FBI did not use a tactical team to stop Huffman, but his weapons were unsheathed as a precaution "based on the circumstances during the execution of any warrant," said Laura Eimiller , an FBI spokeswoman, at the Los Angeles Times.
Huffman appeared in court later on Tuesday afternoon when the judge asked him: "I'm not asking you to admit or deny the charges against you, but do you understand what the government claims you have done?" She replied, "Yes".
Her husband, actor William H. Macy, appeared in court while the judge ordered him to release her on bail of $ 250,000. Huffman is scheduled to appear in court on March 29 in Boston.

Actress Laurie Loughlin, known for playing Aunt Becky's role in the "Full House" family comedy series, was also on the celebrity list. Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, would be accused of giving $ 500,000 to have the athlete of their two daughters falsified recordings.
