“I love Renée. Uh, she’s one of the few actresses that I haven’t quarreled with, ” said the former bachelor, before adding, “ And we, we get along really well and we still exchange long emails. ”

Hugh said: “ I really enjoyed playing Daniel, I told him. He’s a disappointed man who was in publishing and always wanted to write his own book but didn’t.

“ With all of that, I think I created a compelling story for him – none of which came out in the final performance. ”
