While Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and Patrick Stewart (Professor X) both retired as Marvel characters, but they played their characters long enough to earn a spot at Guinness World Records because of their longest career as a Marvel superhero.

Both actors appeared in the first X Men movie in 2000 and the last movie that they did was Logan in 2017. Their presence in the X-Men franchise under the names of Wolverine and Charles Xavier extends over 16 years and 228 days.
