Hulu’s only building murders renewed for second season

Hulu renewed the murder mystery comedy Only the murders in the building for a second season; the news comes just as the series is reaching its midseason. As the first season’s case really starts to heat up, scoring another location-centric round of the series begs the question: How many murders will take place in the Arconia?

Only the murders in the building follows three neighbors in the sprawling New York City apartment called Arconia, all of whom share an obsession with an actual crime podcast. When a grisly death occurs inside their exclusive Upper West Side apartment building, the trio (Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez) suspect murder and see it as an opportunity to put their true skills to use. criminals to the test (and carry out their own personal blood feuds). As they record their own podcast to document the affair, the three uncover the intricate secrets of the building that stretch back years, while getting to know their neighbors more and more. Eventually, they begin to uncover not only the details of the case, but also the lies they all told each other.

Only the murders in the building comes from co-creators and writers Steve Martin and John Hoffman (Grace & Frankie).
