Hunter Biden, President by Biden son and fledgling artist, appeared at his first art show last week where he mingled with potential buyers.
Hunter’s art deals – in which his paintings are sold for up to $ 500,000 – have alarmed ethics experts, especially given his lack of experience in formal art.
Hunter’s presence at the event came despite the White House previously saying he would not know the identities of potential buyers.

Biden’s candidate for U.S. ambassador to India, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, was reportedly among the high-profile attendees at Hunter’s art exhibit.
Musician Moby and world champion boxer Sugar Ray Leonard also took part in the 200-person show at LA Milk Studios, according to reports from the Daily Mail, Mother Jones and the New York Post.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki dodged questions about Hunter’s presence at the art show on Wednesday.
“Well, to be clear, we talked about the arrangement managed by the gallery owner and representatives of Hunter Biden for which the White House has provided suggestions. I would refer to the gallery owner for questions about the event as well as to representatives of Mr. Garcetti in terms of attendance, “she said.

Walter Shaub, the former director of the Office of Government Ethics under President Obama, previously told Fox News that Hunter’s lucrative artistic career has a “shameful and cranky feeling.”
“The idea that a son of a president is capitalizing on this relationship by selling art at blatantly inflated prices and keeping the public in the dark about who is paying him money makes a shameful and arrogant sense,” Shaub said.
“He can’t think that someone is paying him based on the quality of the art. It sounds like an attempt to cash in on a family connection to the White House,” he added.
Art experts said Hunter’s work was extremely expensive.
