Bandai Namco revealed Hwang as the final character in the SoulCalibur 6 Season Pass 2 DLC.
Hwang arrives in SoulCalibur 6 on December 2 alongside a free content update that adds a new stage called Motien Pass Ruins, classic costume pieces from Seong Mi-Na, more Tekken CAS pieces and new Mitsurugi episodes. and Nightmare.

Hwang is a Korean swordsman who made his first appearance in Soul Edge (the first installment in the Soul series released in 1995). He then appeared in SoulCalibur and SoulCalibur 3 as a playable character. Since then, Hwang is no longer playable in the main SoulCalibur series.
As Season Pass 2 draws to a close, fans are wondering if Bandai Namco is planning a third – and a new DLC character set – for the two-year fighting game.
