“I just want what I’m worth”

New England Patriots corner Stephon Gilmore wants a new contract, making that desire perfectly clear this offseason, including maintaining the mandatory minicamp.

The 2019 Defensive Player of the Year is expected to earn a base salary of $ 7 million in 2021 after the Pats rose $ 4.5 million last year. That salary currently places Gilmore 24th among corners, per Over The Cap.

Gilmore told reporter Josina Anderson on Friday that he wanted a raise in line with the rest of the game’s top five CBs.
