Razer showcased its redesigned Blade Pro 17 notebook for gamers and potential users, which has outperformed its predecessor, while being considerably more compact and lightweight. The new Blade Pro 17 notebook now contains the latest Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor, as well as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 with Max-Q graphics. Interestingly, the mobile workstation has a UHS-III SD card reader, one of the first in the market.

That's exactly what Razer has been trying to do with his new 2019 Blade Pro 17 notebook: the new notebook measures 19.9 mm in thickness and weighs 2.75 kilograms (instead of 22, 5 mm and 3.07 kilograms in the case of the model of the previous generation). Overall, it is 25% more compact than its predecessor without any compromise on real estate or the rigidity of the screen. The new Blade Pro 17 comes in a CNC machined aluminum chassis and a 17.3-inch IPS display with 1920 × 1080 resolution, 300 nits brightness and a 144 Hz refresh rate.

In Razer's Blade Pro 17, you'll find the Intel Core i7-9750H six-core processor (2.6 GHz – 4.5 GHz) along with 16 GB of DDR4-2667 memory (expandable to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 memory ), as well as a PCIe of 512 GB. 3.0 x4 SSD (expandable to 2 TB) SSD. Graphically, the machine can be equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 2070 Max-Q or RTX 2080 Max-Q GPUs.

Regarding connectivity, the Razer Blade Pro 17 is equipped with the Intel® Wireless-AX200 802.11ax + Bluetooth 5 solution, a 2.5 GbE port, a Thunderbolt 3 connector, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type ports -A, USB 2.0 Gen 2 Port Type-C port, HDMI 2.0b output, UHS-III SD card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, etc. In addition, the system features a 1MP / 720p webcam with IR sensors for Windows Hello, a multidirectional microphone and stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos.

Razer will begin selling its new Pro 17 Blade sometime in May in its own stores and selecting retailers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and China. Prices will start at $ 2,499 in the United States and € 2,699 in Europe.
