The Miami Dolphins were forced to play almost the entire game in Week 2 of the 2021 season without their starting quarterback – sophomore caller Tua Tagovailoa only played two playoffs and was knocked out of the game. match within the first five minutes of play with what is being described as bruised ribs.

“We’ll start with Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, who of course we saw leave the game early yesterday, tried to go on his own and then ended up being taken away – was quickly diagnosed with bruised ribs. Which, generally you would say “okay, no problem, he’ll probably be back in the next game”; but he’s going to have an MRI and potentially other tests this morning, just to make sure there isn’t any associated cartilage damage, ”Rapoport said.
“It’s really something that would end up keeping Tua out maybe for the next couple of games. He was in tremendous pain yesterday, they’ll probably find out sooner this morning.
With how badly things turned out on Sunday, a little news on Monday morning would definitely be a nice change of pace. Time will tell, however – and Miami is generally low-key about injuries in general; So we’ll have to wait and see what comes out in the middle of Miami’s tests for Tagovailoa this morning.
