IBMA 2019 Industry Award – Bluegrass Today

The annual IBMA Industry Awards annual luncheon honored outstanding work in non-performing industry categories, including graphic designers, writers, storytelling, sound engineering, events and songwriters, as well as several Distinguished Achievement Awards. Host Pete Wernick gave the opening speech with the sponsors, a welcome video from Happy and Jane Traum, with the California Bluegrass Association, which presents a short exhibition starring AJ Lee and Blue Summit.

David Benedict of Mile Twelve gave an inspiring glimpse of the IBMA Leadership 2019 class, followed by a brief presentation of Becky Buller on the IBMA Foundation.

Distinguished Achievement Awards

Tim Surrett of Balsam Range paid tribute to Micky Gamble of Mountain Home Music.

Daniel and Joe Mullens presented Allen Mills of Lost and Found.

Fred Bartenstein introduced the former IBMA Executive Director, Dan Hayes.

Sam Bush delivered to Moonshiner Magazine and Sab Watanabe.

Gibson Brothers' Eric and Leigh Gibson were introduced to broadcaster Katy Daley.
