According to CNN, nationwide raids targeting illegal immigrants who missed an appearance in court or were fired by a court began Sunday.
The searches, which are conducted by the Immigration Control Agency, are conducted in cities across the country. They target about 2,000 people for whom the courts have ordered the return of the country.
