Idaho GOP official says he sends invoice to Mike Lindell for election audit

An Idaho GOP official said on Thursday he was sending MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell a bill for the state’s election audit after Trump’s ally alleged there was had widespread fraud.

Houck first announced the move in an interview with CNN on Thursday.

The words come a week after Houck issued a statement discrediting Lindell’s allegations of electoral fraud.

“Once we had the document in hand, we immediately thought there was something wrong,” Houck said. “This document alleged electronic manipulation in all 44 counties. At least 7 counties in Idaho do not have electronic steps in their vote counting processes. “

Butte, Camas and Bonner County were audited after Lindell’s misrepresentation gained attention. All audits have shown the correctness of the election, the secretary of state’s office said on Saturday there was a 0.1% margin of error in the counties, according to the Idaho Statesman.

Trump won Idaho, a strong Republican state, in the 2020 presidential election with 63.8% of the vote. Idaho has four electoral votes.

Lindell did not acknowledge that Biden won the presidential election, instead continuing to falsely claim that there had been fraud in several states that changed the election results.

An Alabama official recently rejected a claim by Lindell that 100,000 votes were transferred from Trump to Biden in that state.
