An Idaho woman made a bizarre rant at a local city council meeting saying she had to wear a “creepy burka” to avoid wearing masks while attending college classes on campus.
A woman who identified as Katie Dugger expressed her frustration over the mask’s tenure and explained why masks had been a burden in her life at a city council meeting in Lewiston, Idaho on Monday .
Dugger, dressed in a colorful outfit with a head scarf, complained that she took a semester off school because she didn’t want to wear a mask.
“I took time off last semester at LCSC (Lewis-Clark State College) because of all this nonsense because I can’t wear a mask,” she says.
“It doesn’t matter why, but it’s very traumatic for me to put on a mask, because of something that happened to me as a child.
Dugger went on to explain why she was chosen to wear her eccentric outfit instead of wearing a mask.
“I’m wearing this because the only way I could go to school today was because I had to act like I had on a creepy burka and go like that so I could go to school and cover my hair. face like I’m Muslim because I can at least breathe, ”she said.
“It’s thin enough that I can breathe through. The way for me to go to school and study is to dress like a scary Muslim, ”the woman added.
Dugger also played down the vaccine during the rant.
“If they want to get the shot, let them get the shot and get Bell’s palsy and die two weeks later,” she said.
Idaho reported more than 161,000 COVID-19 cases and 1,714 deaths on Wednesday, according to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
