Despite the hype surrounding the royal wedding last year, Prince Harry was very realistic when it came to booking the DJ.
Idris Elba told Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday that Prince Harry had asked him to play with him at his wedding with Meghan Markle on May 19th.
"Then Harry and I spent time together through his father," Elba explained. "The charity of his father, Prince's Trust, helped me as a young actor. So, I work a lot with them, Harry and William … and Harry came to a few parties that I organized. "

Proving that Harry was completely calm when it came to planning his wedding, he simply asked Elba, 46, where he had booked.
"And he was like," Hey dude, what are you doing on the date? "Elba, whose stage name is DJ Big Driis, recalled. "And I thought," Oh, nothing. He said, "Hmm, would you like to be a DJ at my wedding? "
Elba said that he had been taken aback by the request and asked if Prince Harry was joking.

The recipient of the recital "Most Sexual Man Living" was present at the ceremony at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle and attended the reception.

Elbe's DJ career has taken off in recent years. It must happen at Coachella this spring.
