First and foremost, the International Funkausstellung – also known as IFA – is an annual public fair held at Messe Berlin, where brands come together to show everything from refrigerators to microphones -wonders, through smartphones and tablets. Seriously, whether it's voice-activated washing machines or 8K 120-inch TVs, there's something for everyone at IFA.
IFA 2019 will take place from 6 to 11 September. Most major announcements – such as the refurbished Samsung Galaxy Fold – are to take place during invitational events only on September 4 and 5. We do not know what each company has in its sleeve, we have a pretty good idea of what to expect thanks to the wonder that's the rumor mill.
