‘I’m a good person with a good heart’

She’s not sorry Charli.

TikTok’s biggest star Charli D’Amelio, 16, ran out of 1 million subscribers and was bombarded with criticism because of a video released this week that many thought flippant and titled.

In the video, Charli maintains a table-worthy cringew disagreement with her parents, Marc and Heidi, her sister, Dixie, fellow TikTokker James Charles, and personal chef Aaron May. At one point, she laments that she didn’t hit 100 million subscribers quickly enough, leaving her fans to feel like mere numbers on a bedpost. Another unfortunate moment came when May cooked the family snail, “an omen of good luck and fortune,” May tells the D’Amelio family, who reside in Norwalk, Connecticut.

Dixie tries the cultural delicacy then convulses, gags and runs outside to throw up in front of May, while Charli asks for “dinosaur nuggets.” Despite Charles’ support after criticism began, Charli’s supporters continued to report the family’s rude behavior.

“It’s disgusting how spoiled and disrespectful these girls are,” one commentator wrote. “I did not pass the vibration test,” said another.

But Charli, estimated to be worth $ 4 million for his social media fame, isn’t backing down.

“Tomorrow I’ll be back to post normal content with a smile on my face! At the end of the day, I know I am a good person with a good heart and I will never change that on my own. I love you all!!” she wrote on twitter, collecting 188,000 likes on Friday morning.

Friday morning, Charli had fair 98.5 million subscribers, compared to 99.5 million before the video.

Representatives for Charli declined the Post’s request for comment on the online controversy.
