Images of the first leak of the Sonos Portable Bluetooth Speaker

Sonos will soon expand its range of speakers with a new member: the Sonos Move. Unlike most Sonos speakers, the new Sonos Move will do things a little differently, starting with Bluetooth support.

Previous leaks have already revealed some of the things Sonos Move will be based on, but WinFuture has released new images of Sonos Move. The blog leaked marketing images for the product, revealing its real appearance. And, according to them, the device design is similar to that of existing Sonos devices, and its size is almost identical to that of the Sonos One.

The peculiarity of the new Sonos Move is that it is portable and can be moved. And for that, Sonos has created new features, such as adding Bluetooth support to the usual Wi-Fi support. This is actually the first Sonos speaker to support Bluetooth playback. So it's a big deal. The device also supports digital assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant with six microphones allowing it to hear your voice.

Sonos is also working on a new feature called Auto Trueplay, according to The Verge, which allows the speaker to use its built-in microphones to hear the audio output itself and adjust it accordingly. It's something we've seen on devices like Google Home Max, but Sonos could offer it to a more affordable speaker through Sonos Move.

Sonos Move can also be moved simply by detaching from the charging stand (you can also charge via USB Type-C). It is unclear when Sonos plans to launch the product or how much it will cost, although, given the already prepared images of the market, the launch is probably not so far away.
