Immortals Fenyx Rising is getting a new limited-time event for all players, and this one makes a little more sense than that spooky Adventure Time DLC from a month ago.
As a promotional tie-up with Blood of Zeus, a Netflix animation dedicated to the son of Zeus battling mythical monsters, Immortals will have a new event available from January 21 to January 28, in which players can take on the Chimera and Cerberus himself ( what would Zagreus say ?!). Upon completing the quest, players will receive an eagle pendant and character customization options depending on the show. The quest, named “A Tribute to the Family”, will appear on the map after you complete the “Gods and Monsters” quest.
In addition to the DLC, there will also be a Blood of Zeus Weapons Pack, including new skins for your Sword, Ax and Bow, and a Character Pack, complete with armor, helmet, wings, mount and a Phoenix companion inspired by the show’s Amazon warrior, Alexia. The character pack costs 1,500 credits (around £ 10) in the in-game store, and the weapon pack costs 810 credits (around £ 5). Both will be available for purchase even after the event ends.
