Immortals Fenyx Rising received a new free quest late last week as part of another media crossover. This time it’s with an animated Netflix show called Blood of Zeus. The added quest isn’t very good, but it does have some nice rewards. But you’ll have to act quickly to get them.
It seems Ubisoft is very open to making crossovers in Immortals. A few weeks ago, Immortals got a Adventure time– a themed cosmetic pack. Now, Blood of Zeus came to Immortals for a limited time event. However, the new quest barely ties into the animated TV show. You start the quest “A Tribute to the Family” in the Hall of Heroes. Until there is a ghostly warrior, using the same model that has been in the game since launch. He explains things about blood, family and sacrifice. I guess if you’ve seen the show, which came out in October, its dialogue might be more interesting or more important. However, I didn’t see the show, so I just nodded. When he was done, I ran away to kill the two big bosses.
One is a Cerberus and the other a Chimera, two enemies that already exist in the game. In fact, on my way to fight the Chimera boss, I ran into a random boss in the world and killed him. . Once they died, I took the two items they dropped – blood and a blue rose – and headed for a Zeus shrine. After a short cutscene with no dialogue, the quest was over. It took about five minutes.
It’s a weird crossover, one that didn’t give me any extra interest to watch Blood of Zeus. (I even had to research what the show was because the quest didn’t mean much to me.) Blood of Zeus has a tenuous Immortals connection because one of the voice actors of the show, Elia toufexis, is also the voice of Prometheus, one of the main characters of Immortals. But it was never mentioned or played at all.

However, I still recommend people to start Immortals and play this limited-time quest. It’s easy and short and earns you great rewards. You get a badge, an item that allows you to shoot lightning at targets during combat. You also get a new face and hairstyle, and even 300 Electrum, a premium currency. Considering you only get 30 per pop from daily quests, that’s a nice amount of free dummy money. If you are a fan of Blood of Zeus, there is a new cosmetic pack in the store, which is not limited in time. So while all of this didn’t impress me, it’s worth checking out the rewards.
The blood of Zeus cross quest is playable in the game until January 28 on all platforms.
