Offensively, it was a big night for interim lead man Ian Happ, who has reached base four times, including his fifth homerun, one single and two walks. I have a feeling that if he continues to take the lead in the leading APs in the absence of Kris Bryant and continues to base himself in the process, he might end up taking over before the end of the season. . Just a feeling.

Jason Heyward also had a great night at home, using the opposing ground while grabbing two hits, but the other momentous moment of it belonged to left fielder Kyle Schwarber, who hit a monster explosion that made that Javy Baez watches him fly like a kid playing little league:
