So it’s a sweep, by the White Sox, at Wrigley Field. You can feel it however you want. The White Sox are a very good team right now, very committed to the playoffs. The Cubs are a shell of what they used to be.
Zach Davies was hammered right off the jump, and not in the right way boozy. I’m not sure exactly what happened to his once exceptional command, but it’s been, uh, pretty patchy this year. And when he doesn’t locate, he doesn’t have the material to get by. This was enough to make the game immediately go out of reach.
