At a press conference, Hank Stawinski, police chief of Prince George County, said three victims were seriously injured and four others less. The victims are between 18 and 20 years old.
Stawinski said that a dozen people were reunited for the toddler party when a person arrived and that a fight broke out, ending with shots.
Police believe it was a single shooter, the chief added.
