President Donald Trump on Monday called for a boycott of AT & T as part of his long-standing disagreement with CNN television.

Fox News, one of Trump's favorite selling points, is no longer broadcast in the UK. It was discontinued in 2017 by Sky, Europe's leading pay-TV service, after Fox News announced that it would no longer provide its feed.

In a previous tweet, Trump asked, "Why does not AT & T do anything?" A spokeswoman for AT & T said the company had "no comment". CNN also declined to comment.
AT & T donated $ 2 million to Trump's inauguration committee and also paid Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, to try to better understand Trump's thinking. He later admitted that paying Cohen was a mistake.
Despite efforts to convince Trump, AT & T has struggled to gain government approval for its acquisition of former CNN owner Time Warner, which has been blocked by the Department of Justice. The government's complaint against the merger ultimately failed.
AT & T is the ninth largest company in the country, with annual sales of $ 170 billion. Its competitors include Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint. The latter two companies are currently waiting for the government to approve their merger, reducing competition in the mobile phone sector.
