Yes. The regular season will now last 18 weeks (17 games plus a bye), but it still starts the week after Labor Day, and there are two weeks left between conference title games and the Super Bowl.

I put little stock in fake drafts, but I read for entertainment and to satisfy my curiosity. Some do not have an indoor DL until the end of the first round. If your need is both CB and DL and you can get the best DT, but only the fourth best cornerback comes into the equation, or is it still an aggregate value?
Getting the best value for money for the pick is paramount, but I don’t think it’s the “best” this or the “fourth best”, as these rankings are only relative to a specific draft and do not say nothing about how a player will compete at the NFL level, which is all about scouting. In your scenario, all other things being equal, the depth of a team’s draft board at the corner and the D-line for subsequent rounds will likely help with the decision.
Do you think the 49ers would like to have a recovery in last year’s draft when they traded and took on WR Brandon Aiyuk instead of QB Jordan Love now that they had to give up so much draft capital to move up and get a QB this year?
Jimmy Garoppolo had just led them to a Super Bowl. They couldn’t have foreseen his next injury issues, and I don’t think they expected to have any doubts that he was their long-term answer just a year later.

I don’t entirely agree with your premise (see commentary on player rankings in a draft given above), but your point on WR picks is valid. To answer your question, it has to be trading with its very first pick in ’18, to get an extra first round the following year. After all of the two-year trading with those selections had been made, Gutekunst converted a No. 14 overall pick plus a third-round pick and two quarterbacks in the No. 18 and No. 21 overall picks in successive drafts. , Jaire Alexander and Darnell Savage. It’s not too shabby.

What type of receiver do you think would be the best complement to Davante Adams? Adams seems to do a bit of everything, indoors, outdoors, speed, jump balls, etc. . What would you do with Davante?
I don’t see this as pairing someone up with Davante as much as bringing a different dimension to LaFleur’s offense as a whole, which I think would be the smaller, faster guy. The question could be where in the project packers would target such an addition. If the next Randall Cobb is still around at the end of the second round, like the original article was ten years ago, I might see it.
