Notably, the star of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is currently in London, where he recently attended the opening ceremony of the ICC World Cup, organized by his small friend Shibani Dandekar, as well as by Andrew Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness.
The ceremony, which took place in the iconic London Mall in the majestic setting of Buckingham Palace, brought together a motley crowd of international celebrities, including Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai, the singer Afghan Aryana Sayeed, Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan and former Indian cricketer Anil Kumble. About 4000 cricket fans were also present on the site.
The event was organized before the first match of the World Cup scheduled on May 30 between South Africa and England. It was worth mentioning that it was the first time that an opening ceremony of the Cricket World Cup had not taken place inside a stadium .
