The women of Westeros come together and it feels good. In Game of Thrones season 8, Daenerys Targaryen and Sansa Stark will finally meet and actress Emilia Clarke can not be happier. In an interview with Harpers Bazaar reminiscent of the last season of HBO's fantasy series, Clarke explained how the dragon's mother could finally reach Winterfell and meet her siblings.
After 19 months of waiting, the official trailer of Game of Thrones of season 8 fell on March 5th. It was filled with dragons, White Walkers and Starks, oh my god! But some of the highlights of the trailer were not what had been shown, but what had been teased – like Khaleesi, the Mother of the Dragon, Daenerys Stormborn meeting Sansa Stark for the first time. Although the meeting was not explicitly shown in the full trailer, she had been teased in a previous HBO promotion, showing images of Daenerys arriving at Winterfell alongside Jon Snow and the image of Sansa seeing a dragon for the first time.
Needless to say, fans can not wait to see these two characters share the same screen, and neither did Clarke. The actor then began to talk about Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa, in his interview.
