It was more than a game during the Wednesday Survivor episode.
The entire cast of Survivor: David Vs. Goliath was evacuated from their Fijian island under the threat of a cyclone – the second they have known since the start of the competition, 12 days ago.
"We are all Davids today, it's the Goliath," said Christian, while he, the Vuku, Jabeni, and Tiva tribes were all escorted out of their camps and rushed to Security.
The actors came back and discovered that a few hours later, all their camps had been completely destroyed. "We come back after being evacuated, and our shelter is destroyed," Angelina said. "If any of us had participated in that, I mean, it would have been over, that's for sure."
"I think everyone's mood was like, oh my God," added Alec. "It looked like a bomb had exploded … it's quite intense."
"Two cyclones, a medical evacuation, a person who quits smoking," Alison reminded her of the adversity she has been facing since the beginning of the match. "It's just talking about the madness of this game."
After 37 seasons of Survivor, host Jeff Probst did not panic. The entire distribution of Millennials vs. Gen X was also evacuated at the start of the competition in 2016.
"You are all safe, and the game resumes," said Probst at David Vs. Goliath participated in Wednesday's episode as they launched their first immunity challenge since the cyclone.
Survivor airs Wednesdays at 8 pm ET / PT on CBS. See more in the video below.
