# 4 Yokozuna refuses to lose weight
The Samoan giant entered the WWE in the early 90s and quickly clarified his intentions. Yokozuna was heading two consecutive WrestleMania events, both losing their efforts against Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart.
Although Yokozuna was brought because of his gigantic stature, it ended up being the reason for his departure. He was constantly asked to lose weight because he weighed about 600 pounds in 1996.
He did not listen and was finally released from the company. In 2000, Yokozuna weighed about 750 pounds, which played a major role in his death the same year.
