WWE Smackdown Live on the American Network
Streamed live from Louisville, Kentucky to KFC Yum Center

Tom Phillips, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton welcomed everyone. AJ Styles made his entrance to open the show, while the ad team interpreted the new wildcard rules. AJ grabbed a microphone and plunged into a positive reaction from the crowd. He then said that he had missed Smackdown Live. AJ summarized the creation of the generic rule by Vince and said that if you are brave enough and fast enough, you can go to a rival brand. AJ clarified that you can be one of 4 Superstars (apparently over 3) to crush the other series and said that Smackdown was the house that AJ Styles had built.

Sami Zayn had escaped from his dumpster and had interrupted Styles. He called the crowd, Kentucky Fried Hillbillies, and said he could not allow AJ Styles to take control of his toxic ego. AJ said that he smelled the smell of a foot and congratulated him for having escaped the dumpster. Zayn accused him of flawed leadership, but he was quickly interrupted by New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. They said they could not party in the ring without having invited their boys The New Day. Kofi mocked AJ with his white voice for calling Smackdown the house he had built and said he no longer lived there.

Kofi asked him what he was doing there and AJ replied that he had seen Kofi on Raw and that he wanted to return the favor. Woods asked Styles to check themselves before they waxed. Kofi said that he was the champion, and that it was his ring now, and asked AJ what he wanted to do about it. Sami told them to stop and said that he knew where he was going. He made fun of Kofi by giving Styles a WWE title match, and told him that the crowd was not happy for him. Sami then claimed to have been hooked by the fans' affection and now he was making mistakes by proposing matches for the title that they did not deserve.

He said that if anyone deserved a shot for the title, it was him, because he was ready to do it. Tell people the truth even when they do not want to hear it. Kofi and Woods told him that he felt the sock drawer. Kofi said that he had proved to Daniel Bryan that his title win was not a coincidence, that he was a champion in the fight and that he would defend his championship against him. one or the other later tonight. He claimed that the result would be the same, no matter who he would face, and that he would remain the WWE champion. Shane McMahon The tag title announcement has been scheduled for later.

A behind-the-scenes promo has been shown for Kevin Owens. He said it was his birthday and he realized he would not start the show as planned because he did not want to deal with that shit today. He said Kofi was lucky tonight, but his luck would end when he won the WWE title at Money in the Bank.

In the arena, Ali made his entrance … [c]

My Take: I guess we're just going to get a bunch of title defenses now. I'm not against it, as such, but I doubt it's wise to waste so many games. One of the attractions of the brand split is that it can keep some wrestlers away and that fights can be saved and made special in the long run. This kind of evaporates with the rule of the generic character.

Kofi will face AJ Styles and Sami Zayn later in the series. A prerecorded promo was aired for Ali, who was in the street. He looks at a lamppost and says that the light always shows him the way. He compared the Money in the Bank briefcase and called it the light that would hang over the ring. Ali told Money in Bank that he would seek the light and that he would continue to fight as long as he would see her well.

Andrade then made his entrance on the stage. Zelina said that, just like the Kentucky Derby, thousands of fans would gather to watch Money in the Bank's PPV. But unlike the Kentucky Derby, there was only one thoroughbred in the race, and he's with him. Andrade grabbed the microphone and said that he would become Mr. Money in the bank and that Ali would become envious of his success.

1. Ali against Andrade: The match started with Andrade, who hit hard in the chest. Ali was inflamed and kicked Andrade on the floor. He continued and climbed the barricade to jump on Andrade, but Zelina Vega jumped in front of him. The distraction allowed Andrade to hit Ali in the timekeeper zone … [c]

Andrade controlled the action during the break. He then hit a body and climbed to the top. Ali hit a punch to interrupt him. He then hit a Spanish fly, but the match was interrupted by Randy Orton. Both Andrade and Ali gave Randy Orton a good kick, but he looked even more pissed off.

The match ended in a no-contest at 7:22

Ali still has some shots on goal. Orton, but ended up being hit by an RKO. Andrade jumped on Orton with a nothing that flies and also ate an RKO. After leaving the two in a heap, Orton mounted the scene with a smirk. The ad team viewed some footage of Raw from last night, while Elias and Shane McMahon were fighting over one against Roman. They said that Roman had always fought against the authority and had presented a set of videos chronicling some of his career highlights and his recent battle with cancer.

After the video, Shane McMahon entered society … [c] [1945-15]. 19659003] My conclusion: Orton still has one on Ali and Andrade was a pleasure for the crowd. Let's hope that they give them the chance to shine next week before we switch to Money in the Bank. I am not a fan of Andrade who is struggling to advertise. There is no need to put it in a sink or swim when you have Zelina, who is already a very effective spokesperson. Ali's pre-recording had been shot in an interesting way, but the content of the promotion looked a bit like a false philosophy. Roman's video package was very well done, but it does not feel like they're doing a lot to change the formula.

A video was shown showing Shane McMahon fleeing The Miz last night and escaping after hitting a low shot. Their Steel Cage match was hooked up by the ad team. Shane said that he had come to talk about the team division of Smackdown. But first, he went to the Miz, and displeased that Miz hit him with the Steel Chair. He called it deplorable and disgusting. He said Miz could not do the job last night, and he would not do it at Money in the Bank because he would come out victorious again. Shane then turned his attention to the Smackdown team championships and mentioned that The Hardyz had canceled his titles last week after Jeff was injured by Lars Sullivan. He wondered who would be worthy of the Smackdown Team Champions and Daniel Bryan and Rowan made their entry.

The Usos then broke off and say woah, wait a minute. Shane asked them why they were there, and they said that Roman Reigns had told them that they could slip into his yard whenever they wanted. They disputed that Shane just delivered the titles and said that they had to win it. They said New Day, The Bar, The Usos and even Shane won those titles. They told Shane not to just give the titles to SpongeBob and Patrick, Ren and Stimpy, or Beavis and Butthead. They wanted a match in order to have one more chance to lock the Uso penitentiary. Shane made the match and asked a referee to come down … [c]

My Take: It's hard to find an opponent readily available to Daniel Bryan in the singles division, so maybe a trip In the divisions It will make sense for him and Rowan as he waits for the good quarrel to materialize. The Usos promo had a bit of a good mood, but it seemed a little too cute at certain points. We will see what happens.

Finn Balor pre-registered Ireland and announced that he would do something extraordinary at Money in the Bank and become Finn 2 Belts. He seemed a little nerd.

2. Daniel Bryan and Rowan vs. Usos: Advertisers mentioned Ucey Hot and my eyes rolled in the back of my head. The Usos dominated the debut by controlling Daniel Bryan in their corner. He escaped and made a label for Rowan, and then lay on the ground. Rowan absorbed some chops and hit a big boot on Jimmy. He then hit a splash underway for a near fall. Rowan and Bryan then returned the favor and isolated Jimmy in their corner. Bryan reinstated and Rowan and threw him in the corner for a bit of a slingshot dropkick. Rowan then brought Jey off the apron and hit a big block on Jimmy who knocked him down … [c]

Bryan hit a low dropkick, Jey Uso, then his free kick. He missed the last one and Jimmy scored and leveled Bryan with a superkick. He then climbed up, but Bryan lifted his knees and turned him into Lebell's Lock. Jimmy almost reached the ropes, but Bryan returned. He ended up inverting in a combo of pins for a near fall, then hit a superkick. Jey and Rowan came in, and the Usos hit several superkicks and a double superkick. Jey eliminated Bryan on the floor, and Jimmy got splashed in the ring for a nice time close to the fall.

Jey came in and they prepared for a Double Uce, but Bryan dropped it from the ring pole. Jimmy sent Bryan and Rowan to the outside. The two Usos splashed Rowan, but he caught them. Bryan struck Jey from a knee and Rowan threw Jimmy into the barricade. Jimmy hit two other superkicks, but Rowan re-entered and won

Bryan and Rowan defeated Usos at 15:21

After the match, Shane introduced Bryan and Rowan with the team championships. The match for the WWE Triple Threat title was plugged in for later. Carmella and Ember will then face Sonya and Mandy. Apparently, Shane will stick around because he has something to say about the matches in Money in the Bank Ladder. We then had a cover of the Firefly FunHouse video from last night.

My Take: A very entertaining Tag Match, which also showed that Bryan and Rowan work well together. It will be interesting to see if they have enough chemistry to carry other Smackdown teams that do not have the same reputation with the crowd as the Usos. In the announcement of Shane McMahon, I wonder if they will allow the winners of Money in the Bank to compete for the two brand championships because of the Wild Card Rule.

Shane asked the crowd to pressure him because he wanted to leave Louisville as soon as possible. He said that he had to release information. Shane said that any superstar capable of grabbing the standings is almost guaranteed a WWE Championship. Before Shane could finish his statement, The Miz jumped him from behind. Shane jumped on the scene after being evacuated from the barricade and Team B gave him some help. While Miz was taking care of the B-Team, Shane hit him from behind with a chair. Miz was lying down and Shane was walking backwards.

Backstage, Bryan and Rowan celebrated and called themselves Champions of the Planet. They said that they had to do something about these titles. Heavy Machinery has approached and sent them congratulations. In the arena, Ember Moon made his entrance … [c]

My Take: The interruption of Miz was expected, but it worked. Shane has low-level lackey works for me, as it makes sense for his character. It's also an effective way to prevent him from physically dominating other wrestlers, which he should not do. Bryan and Rowan, who are launching updated hemp tag titles for the first time, should be fun.

3. Carmella and Ember Moon vs. Sonya and Mandy: The match spread quickly outside and sent Carmella up the stairs. They then sent Ember Moon into the barricade and threw it against the apron. In the ring, Mandy hit his undercover playmaker and covered for the win.

Sonya and Mandy defeated Carmella and Ember Moon at 2:01

After the match, Paige left Kairi. and Asuka. She said that she used to manage them when they were relevant, but that her new team would be tearing up the entire tag division starting next week.

Behind the scenes, Matt Hardy was interviewed by Kayla Braxton. He said that Jeff had undergone a successful surgery, but that he had been promptly interrupted by R-Truth. The truth has said that Lars Sullivan's arms are like bear traps, and if he catches you, you have it. Lars interrupted them and destroyed them both. It was a badly played segment.

My Take: A lot of things in this segment. Ember and Bayley were dismissed by Mandy and Sonya. They could therefore apparently be fed with Asuka and Kairi next week. It could have been an improvement match.

Aleister Black was in a dark room. He called the people who fought to be accepted. He said that he is sitting in front of them like their anger and their salvation. He then apologized to his opponents for his need to take it away. They embody the sins of those who have wronged him. Black then said that he would demand the absolution of his own sins by seeking victory at his expense.

In the arena, AJ Styles made his debut, followed by Sami Zayn and Kofi Kingston …. [c]

We have become official sounding announcements for the main event.

4. Kofi Kingston vs. AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn: AJ jumped on Kofi with a kick in the face. He then sent Sami to the ground with a kick as well. Kofi retaliated with a kick and covered for two counts. Sami tried to get into the match, but Kofi sent him away quickly. The styles hit Kofi hard, then send Sami out again. Kofi hit the back of Styles. Styles was out of place and put AJ's weight on one of his knees. Sami went into the game this time and eliminated Styles and Kofi styles from the apron … [c]

Sami controlled the action in the ring and hit a big superplex in Kingston for an almost imminent crash. AJ Styles came back in the game and put Zayn up and hit a huracanrana at the top of the rope. AJ then hit a ushigoroshi in Kingston. The three men met while Kofi hit an SOS on Styles, who held Zayn in a defensive position. Kofi crawled to his food and sold his back. Styles sold his knee earlier in the game. The two men exchanged punches and trembled on their feet. Styles kicked and both men were shot.

Styles rose and ran to Kofi in a corner and prepared for a phenomenal forearm by being sent to the apron. Kofi hit Trouble in Paradise and sent AJ to the floor. Kevin Owens ran and badaulted Xavier Woods on the ground and took him out by sending him in apron and steps. Sami hit a blue bomb thunder twice, and both times almost fell. He then hit a third and Kofi still started 2.9.

Sami sold his frustration and accused Kofi in the corner, but he went out with Trouble in Paradise and won.

Kofi Kingston was defeated. Sami Zayn and AJ Styles at 17:32

Kofi glanced at Xavier on the outside and asked where Kevin Owens was coming from. Woods said that he did not know. Kevin Owens had left after Kofi's departure from a third Blue Thunder Bomb. At the edge of the ring, Kayla Braxton asked Kofi if Kevin Owens was in his head. He said that at Money in the Bank, it would be difficult to pay for Kevin Owens. luck. Did he really want Sami Zayn to win the WWE title? If so, they gave us no reason to think that he would do it. The last time they had shots at the WWE Championship, they killed themselves on it. That said, this show has moved forward at a good pace and, without the third hour, is usually not overtaken by welcome. The extra power of the stars is welcome in the short term, but the effects of the hotspot strategy are usually long term.
