WWE announced that the game "The Last Chapter of the Shield" will be broadcast on the WWE, alongside Finn Balor and Elias for the Intercontinental Championship.
It seemed like WWE fans had already seen The Shield's last match together as a trio they defeated Sunday's opponents in the F-Astlane pay-per-view main event in March. However, as this is the last announced appearance of Ambrose before leaving the company, WWE has adopted the rare approach of broadcasting live event footage on the WWE network.
From a screenwriting point of view, Ambrose was released from the WWE programming the night that followed WrestleMania. 35 when it was launched by the ad office on Raw by Lashley. Since then, he has said goodbye to the crowd in Brooklyn last week but he has not participated in television since the defeat Last Man Standing match against McIntyre in March.

The shield has had more reunion farewell over the last 18 months that The Big Show has had the face and heel shot, so it's natural that some fans are wondering if Sunday's game will really be "The Last Chapter of the Shield" or if they could join forces in the near future.
To avoid any doubt, Seth Rollins consulted Twitter before the match to confirm that it would be good of them last meeting together, at least "for a wh ile ".
He tweeted:
" I am very happy with this weekend. Taking the black one more time with my boys … and in my own yard. I know we've had a lot of "durations" lately, but I promise you that it's really the end of time. "
