The Undertaker has eliminated Goldberg from the Royal Rumble 2017

WWE announced that its next event in Saudi Arabia will be held at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah on Friday, June 7, with Goldberg among the biggest superstars to appear in the series.

The legend of WCW returns to the ring after 14 years of victory over Brock Lesnar against Survivor. Series 2016, while he also appeared in the Royal Rumble 2017 before beating Kevin Owens for the World Championship at Fastlane 2017.

His last match was held at WrestleMania 33, where he lost the Universal title against Lesnar and his only significant WWE. Since then, he has been inducted into the 2018 Hall of Fame.

Alongside Goldberg, WWE has also confirmed that the following names will be featured at the upcoming Saudi exhibition: Roman Reigns, The Undertaker, Kofi Kingston, Braun Strowman , Seth Rollins, AJ Styles and Lesnar

Given that Goldberg has not been part of a WWE screenplay for over two years, nothing clearly indicates to whom he might be confronted or what role he could play during the event. We know, however, that he has not officially retired and that he has always said "never say never" about a possible return to the ring.

With this in mind, let's take a look at five opponents who could realistically face June 7th.

# 5 Rusev

Rusev burst onto the WWE scene as an unstoppable force that avoided losing by fall or submission a whole year, yet , he now plays the role of Superstar, the most famous of the central cards, who loses almost all his big matches.

The last defeat of the triple US champion took place at WrestleMania 35, where he teamed up. Shinsuke Nakamura competes in a four-for-four match for the SmackDown Tag Team titles, and his streak of playoff defeats has now set a WWE record of 18 consecutive games.

Rusev, the first WWE film in Saudi Arabia. has been involved in one of the games presented against The Undertake r. Once again, "The Bulgarian Brute" was found on the losing side (and in a coffin, no less), and it would not be surprising that it would be used in a similar position at the next event .
