5 Reasons Why The McMahon Family Has Turned The Heel Before WrestleMania 35

The McMahon family took control of RAW. They said that there would be more intermediaries on the red mark after the disastrous Baron Corbin experience. The same thing would also extend to SmackDown Live. The first wrestling family would turn things around on both brands.

New faces and new opportunities were promised and some of the promises were kept. But soon enough, we began to see the McMahons we know and "love of hate" emerge in the foreground. With the notable exception of Triple H, who was not really born into the family, all McMahons would turn against them.

Through this page and the next four, I will try to gauge the reasons for the turn. As always, leave a comment and tell us your opinion, friends.

# 5 A Proven Formula

[1945] 19659017] Many consider Vince McMahon to be the best heel of all time. In fact, while Stone Cold, Steve Austin may have been the man who made WWE during the Monday night wars, he also had a valuable antagonist to Vince McMahon. Together, the two men would redefine sports entertainment after the plunge of viewers in the '90s.

Stephanie McMahon took on this role in the new era, notably with The Authority. I do not remember one time she was not booed on TV, regardless of the fact that she is making historic and groundbreaking announcements for the WWE Women's Division. Being heels is second nature to the McMahon and that's what they excel at.

I guess when you have a person in charge who abuses his power, the WWE universe will naturally support the baby-faces. That's why WWE often comes back to the well.
