Huawei's Honor sub-group launched a new low-budget smartphone, the Honor 8C, in India. The device offers the specifications of a clbadic smartphone and supports handsets such as Realme U1, Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro and Nokia 6.1 Plus.

Price and Availability of the Honor 8C
Launched at a starting price of 11,999 rupees, the Honor 8C offers 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage for the basic variant. There is another variant of the device offering 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage priced at Rs 12,999. The Honor 8C will be available from December 10th on the Amazon India and HiHonor websites.

Honor 8C Specification
In terms of specifications, the Honor 8C offers a 6.2 inch IPS LCD TFT display with a resolution of 1520 x 720p and 269ppi. The handset is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. There are two handset storage options: 32 GB and 64 GB. Users also benefit from a microSD card support of up to 256 GB.

For imaging tasks, the Honor 8C is equipped with a dual backup camera with 13 megapixel and 2 megapixel sensors. On the front, users get a fixed focus sensor of 8 megapixels. Running on EMUI 8.2 Lite, based on the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. Backed by a 4000mh battery, the device features a fingerprint sensor, a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, a digital compbad, a gravity sensor.

The Honor 8C has dimensions of 158.72mm x 75.94mm x 7.98mm and a weight of 167g. It comes in blue and black color options. The handset connectivity options include 4G VOLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB 2.0.
