As we reported previously, Sharwanand and Samantha teamed up for the first time in the remake of the hit Tamil movie "96". The banner of producer Dil Raju officially announced the film today on the eve of Republic Day.
The original director of the Tamil film, C Prem Kumar, directs the film. He would have modified his story to adapt it to the nativity and tastes of the Telugu audience. The film will go on the set in March, Sharwanand and Samantha being busy with their respective films.
