Former Prime Minister and Head of HD (HD) Deve Gowda said Thursday that party leaders may have demonstrated their unity at the HD Kumaraswamy swearing-in ceremony as Prime Minister of Karnataka, but that does not mean that they would go hand in hand in all the states in the Lok Sabha polls. In parliament, Deve Gowda said it was necessary to form a third front at the earliest, citing repeated calls from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Amit Shah in favor of simultaneous polls.
