As a teenager, Alyssa began attending all the space camps she could find. She was the first to complete NASA's pbadport program, which requires that one person visit NASA's 14 hosting centers and have their "pbadport" stamped at each location.
"I did the same thing as other kids, like changing careers, wanting to become a teacher or president someday," she told Teen Vogue in an interview.
