at the convocation ceremony of the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST). had entered the design of the new launcher. Justifying the development of the new platform, he said that existing launcher systems were not easy to evaluate to reduce costs because it required design changes and validation, a time-consuming and costly process.
Dr. Sivan said that if ISRO had all the basic ingredients to run a human demonstration of spaceflight, a lot of technology development had to be done to accomplish the goal.
"ISRO centers must work in tandem with other research and development agencies, academia and other global space agencies," he said. 19659002] Sivan stressed the need to expand the scope and scope of space services in mobile communications, crop coverage, disaster management and health and social services
