The actor Balika Vadhu, Sidharth Shukla, arrested for car accident, rescued

TV actor Sidharth Shukla was released on bail after being arrested for hitting three vehicles and crushed his car on a divider in Mumbai.

He was released after paying a fine of Rs 5000. On Saturday, the accident took place in the Oshiwara area in Mumbai. The actor in question who was driving his car at a higher speed lost control, police said.

Police arrived at the scene and arrested the actor under section 279 (Reckless driving or public conduct), 336 (Endangering the Life or Personal Safety Act of Others), 337 (Causing life-threatening injuries or personal safety of others) and 427 (mischief causing damage in the amount of fifty rupees) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) before opening their investigations.

Sidharth was also reported to have been involved in a road accident in 2014. He is known to have participated in several successful fiction and reality TV shows such as "Balika Vadhu" and "Khatron Ke Khiladi" for n & rsquo; to name a few.

He made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar's "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya", starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. He was last seen on a television show "Dil se Dil Tak".
