Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amithab Bachchan promised to pay bank loans to 850 farmers in Uttar Pradesh. He was involved in repaying loans from 350 farmers in Maharashtra. He said it was the most satisfying experience for him to help farmers and added that it was very comforting to do anything for farmers willing to risk their lives for our country.
The intervention that he made in repaying farm loans from Maharashtra had saved many families from the suicide threshold. He is trying to expand his participation in other parts of the country. Not only in Maharashtra, but also in Andhra Pradesh and Vidarbha, his involvement has benefited farmers. For the repayment of the loans of 850 farmers, the rupee is estimated at 5.5 billion rupees.
The actor also intends to help Ajeet Sing, one of the participants of KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati), who uses to rescue the kidnapped girls and constraints to prostitution, which he talked about on his blog.
