"We are doing this film with Shah Rukh Khan. We should start in February or March of next year, but we have not yet announced the female lead role, "Ronnie told PTI.
The producer, who also supported director Sushan Singh Rajput-Sara Ali Khan, said he wanted to be more involved in each of the projects in which he participates.
"This time, there is no constraint. I can do three movies a year, or six. To tell the stories I want to tell is the most important. That's what I'm going to focus on, involve deeply in everything, the cast and the script. That's the plan, "he said.
Ronnie was speaking on the sidelines of the 20th edition of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, where his film Mard Ko Dard's Nahi Hota had been featured in Indian premiere.
The producer said on his arrival, director Vasan Bala, he understands the filmmaker's vision.
"If you look at the script and read it, you may not know what, why and how it happens, for me, working with Vasan in the long run was very important, I understood the vision and decided to support it.
"With this kind of film, you think we can to do more to make it more public, so the music has reached a different level and the cast was already perfect, "he added. The film tells the story of a young man born without a pain receiver who aspires to defeat 100 opponents in a kumite tournament.
The comedy action recently won the People's Choice Award in the Midnight Madness section of the Toronto International Film Festival and sparked an enthusiastic response at its premiere in India.
But for Ronnie, who plans to release the film early next year, the real test would be the reaction of the public.
"The real answer is when we go out into the trade. The answer to the TIFF and the price was lovely. Even here, no one wanted to get up. We had such a good response, "he said.
