KARACHI: A 15-year-old girl from the Sikh community was allegedly raped by Rescue 1122 workers in Nankana Sahib, Punjab
. FIR registered with his parents, they wrote that their daughter had disappeared from his home on Saturday, October 28, prompting them to go out looking for him. Around midnight, they noticed a Rescue 1122 ambulance parked at the wheel of a road. On closer inspection, they saw two men badaulting their daughter
. Her parents screamed aloud, causing them to flee into the ambulance after throwing her at the side of the road. "We demand strict action against those responsible," his parents wrote in a FIR housed at the local police station in Nankana Sahib town.

Parents named Shameem Haider and Ashan Ali are alleged badailants of their daughter.
The Minister of Human Rights, Shireen Mazari, also took note of the case and tweeted that the police had arrested two men involved in this heinous crime. to be tolerated. The rapists would be rescue workers 1122. Dawn a quoted the ministry's district officer as saying the investigation into their involvement had begun and they had been suspended.
