Srishty told the roommates that Bigg Boss had called her into the confession room and had asked the Rangoli Task winning team to select two contenders from the Overseas Captaincy. Sreesanth, who until now did not pay attention to the captaincy, suddenly defended him with violence. Although Dipika and Karanvir do not really want him to become captain, they finally agree. Karanvir decides to sacrifice again and names Jasleen for the captain position.
Deepak adds to the lighter moments of the series when he steals Appy Fizz for his friends, but gets scolded by Bigg Boss for almost emptying the stockpile. Bigg Boss asks him to return the keys to the Appy Fizz refrigerator and keep them in the store.

Bigg Boss then informs the roommates that Sreesanth and Jasleen will be required to compete for a job for the captain position. Sree and Jasleen had to garner support from the roommates who will receive the badges named Sreesanth and Jasleen. The competitor who has a maximum of badges at the end of the task will win the task. A Diwali mela will also be installed in the garden as part of the task. It will open three times and will have three types of stores. Roommates can purchase items from shops with points awarded to the captain's suitors. For the first leg, Jasleen would give points, Sreesanth will take responsibility for the second leg, and in the third stage, Jasleen and Sreesanth will be able to give points to the roommates.
In the first leg, Sana Khan, a former Bigg Boss contestant, will come to the interior of the house to sell designer clothes. The roommates are trying to find the best deal and Jasleen is obliged to answer their request although they know that the majority of them wear Sreesanth badges.
The second stage will consist of a dance performance of the former Bigg Boss competitor and sensation of Haryanvi, Sapna Chaudhary surface. The roommates must buy a ticket to watch the shows. Surbhi, who supports Sreesanth in this task, states that Sree was initially his biggest enemy, but she gave him another chance and realized that he was good at heart.
At the end of the task, Bigg Boss asks Srishty to announce the winner of the task. As 10 players support the cricketer, he becomes the new captain with a huge majority.
Shortly after, Sreesnath apologizes to Karanvir for his behavior and hugs him. He also apologized to Rohit for his homophobic joke.
