The birthday party of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at a restaurant in the suburbs of Mumbai was stopped by police on Saturday morning for allegedly breaking the deadline. A police official said that the city's restaurants could not operate beyond 1 am, but the party continued well after.
Khan reportedly called his close friends to the tin-making town for his 53rd birthday at a fancy restaurant in Bandra. The music was loud when the police came to visit, said the official. No cases were recorded in this regard, he said.
The trailer for Zero, Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film, was also released on his birthday. At the launching ceremony, King Khan addressed the media and thanked his fans for their love and best wishes.
He also wrote on Twitter: "I think the property makes it a very small one. I believe that I am the luckiest man who no longer has my birthday too … it belongs to all those beautiful people who love me so much, me and my family. Thanks my God.
