A day before Virat Kohli's birthday, West Indian legend Brian Lara congratulated the Indian skipper and said he was happy to see that cricket had found its new leader. Praying the drummer, who has been at the top of his game since his introduction to the game, former Lara said, "Everything Kohli does today is phenomenal. The rating rate, its fitness and the importance it gives to many different things. It's great to see that the game has a leader right now. "So far, Kohli's career can be summed up as a sensational phenomenon where he scored 6331 points in 73 tries, 10232 points in 216 ODI and 2102 in 62 T20s. Recently, Virat Kohli became the fastest drummer to score 10,000 FDI points. The Indian captain crossed the threshold in just 205 innings, improving the previous Sachin Tendulkar record with 259 innings. however, the Indian captain said that even after breaking records at will, he felt no "sense of entitlement".
"It's a great honor for me to represent my country and even after 10 years of playing, I do not feel like I'm entitled to anything here. You must always work hard for every round you score internationally, "said Kohli during a chat on BCCI.TV.
