Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah remain at the top of the ICC ODI classification

Dubai: Indian captain Virat Kohli and fast thrower Jasprit Bumrah took the top spots in the ICC ODI rankings released on Tuesday. With 899 points, Kohli retained pole position while vice-captain Rohit Sharma remained in second place.

Rohit's opening partner, Shikhar Dhawan, also improved his standings and became the third Indian in the top 10 by placing eighth. He had already been placed in ninth place from the previous list. The former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is ranked 20th in the last list.

Three Indian bowlers also took first place with Bumrah in first place with 841 points. While Kuldeep Yadav retained his third place, Yuzvendra Chahal was third in fifth place.

Afghanistan's Rashid Khan, with 353 points, is currently the highest ranked player among the world's cricketers.

In the overall team clbadification, India, with 121 points, remains second behind England, with 126 points.

Meanwhile, in the latest T20 ICC ranking, Pakistan retains first place, while India remains in second place. Pakistan collected two more and rose to 138 points. Indian Chinese Kuldeep Yadav has moved 14 places to 23rd place in the ICC T20 ranking. Yadav has won five goals in two games at a 5.6 rate of return in the 3-0 win of India's home series over the current T20 champions.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar also gained nine places to rank in the top 20. Rohit Sharma gained three places and finished seventh, while Shikhar Dhawan gained five places to finish 16th.
