Mithali stays out of the team while he is fit and Kaur has justified his decision even after the humiliating loss of eight wickets on Sunday. Main players and manager Trupti Bhattacharya met with BCCI CEO Rahul Johri and General Manager (Cricket Operations) Saba Karim.
"Yes, we (Johri and Karim) met with Mithali, Harman and the head, Trupti Bhattacharya, they met us all separately and expressed their views, and we noted everything," said Johri.
However, he refused to divulge the details of the meeting.
"Please, do not ask me what was discussed at the meeting," Johri said.
Johri and Karim should submit a detailed report to the Court of Auditors, which will evaluate and, if necessary, speak to the persons concerned.
According to certain hypotheses, one of the members of the Court of Auditors reportedly spoke to Mithali, but this could not be verified independently.
Coach Ramesh Powar is expected to meet Johri and Karim on Wednesday.
Although this may not be exactly related to the selection fiasco in Antigua, it is unlikely that Powar will get an extension as his interim contract ends on November 30th.
The BCCI will continue its policy of inviting to submit new applications for the post of coach and Powar will also be eligible.
