A soldier was killed and two terrorists were shot dead during a violent meeting in Kulgam this morning in Kammmir and Kashmir. The shooting erupted after the terrorists fired on a team of the army, state police and the CRPF who were carrying out a cordon-and-trace operation in the southern Kashmir district, 70 km from Srinagar. .
After a five-hour meeting, two terrorists hiding in a house were shot dead.
Two other meetings were held in Tral, Pulwama District. Police said a terrorist was found hiding at his home in a village in the district. The meeting is underway.
