"Do not become an engineer"

If you are an engineering student and you have some problems with your compartment or additional papers, you will have more trouble waiting for you. While having a petition, the High Court of Punjab and Haryana fought hard against an engineering student at the National Institute of Technology (KIT), Kurukshetra, asking him to stop following this course after starting it nine years ago. The Hindu newspaper Amar Ujala reported that the court had enjoined the student, who currently stands with 17 compartment exams, to practice any other profession than that of an engineer.

According to the information received, the applicant joined NIT Kurukshetra as a B Tech student. 2009 and spent four years of time stipulated in the course, but resulted in 17 compartments – also called complementary exams in some areas of the country, which are chances given to students having underperformed or failed at one of the reviews of a program to declare having pbaded the course – and then pbaded the exams four years later.

The appellant stated that he was seeking mercy, to which the High Court responded: "You have pity on this court, do not waste its precious time have pity on this country and do not become an engineer ". .

The Court also stated that if he was unable to complete the engineering work in 9 years, how could he clean 17 compartments?

The Court also suggested to the appellant to choose another profession – as the law would – but not as an engineer.
