Lung cancer was considered one of the rarest diseases in the early twentieth century (according to the 1912 medical reports). Over the years, the increase in different types of pollutants has aggravated the disease.
Cancer of the lungs: by the numbers
According to a study conducted by the International Agency for Research on Cancer, lung cancer has been responsible for nearly 1.8 million deaths worldwide. The study also points out that lung cancer is the leading cause of death for both men and women, as well as the leading cause of cancer death among women in 28 countries.
Double trouble While smoking increases the chances of cancer, the ability to heal significantly decreases compared to non-smokers. In fact, cancer cells are so irritated by the smoke that they lose all their usual identity (technically called receptors), making targeted drug therapy useless. The addition of damage to the lungs and heart reduces their tolerance to treatment, further complicating the effective implementation of treatment procedures.
Pollution and Adulteration Other contributing factors to lung cancer are pollution and adulteration. Initially, eating 4 to 5 fruits / vegetables of different colors each day was a message I was asking people to follow, something I had borrowed from the Japanese lifestyle. But today, we are in a desperate situation. Falsification has added to the risk of cancer. Today, it is best to have access to organic fruits and vegetables to prevent adulteration.
It should be understood that organic products do not look as good as those dipped in chemicals.
