Reliance Capital reported a consolidated net profit of 280 crores for the quarter ended September 30
. It had a net loss of 163 crores in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
During the second quarter of 2018-2019, the company reached Rs. 5,330 crores against Rs. 4,841 crores during the same period last year, said Reliance Capital in a regulatory document.
] Anil Ambani owns 52% of the promoters, while foreign investors hold 20.1% of the shares.
National institutions and financial institutions (banks, mutual funds) hold 8.4%, the remaining 19.5% being held. by the public and other people.
Reliance Capital has interests in the management of badets and mutual funds, pension funds, insurance of persons, insurance of persons and persons, commercial financing and to home, securities brokerage, wealth management and the distribution of financial products, among others.
